rlrward 1 post	Hi looking for a schauzer, i looked at adoption but ther is none in my state i live in a small town in nc.close to charlotte nc.I’m looking to replace what a lost,had a stand schnauzer, his name was sir simon he had a good life but has we all no life sometimes is not as long as we like.he was,3 when we got him. and had him for 8 loving yr,looks like i will look for a breeder,the person i got simon from is not a breeder anymore puls as gottn out of breeding.

Grace 46 posts	I turned up these NC rescues: http://www.ncschnauzers.org http://www.schnauzerrescueofthecarolinas.org You could also check shelters in the state to see if they have any adult schnauzers or maybe schnauzer mixes.
clhaugen 5 posts	Rescue organizations are great because they usually have volunteers that foster the dogs and therefore learn what the dogs are like. They are also usually well-informed about the breed. Besides why buy from a breeder when there may be a dog who is waiting for his/her forever home.

l_Hart 1 post	MY STANDARD SCHNAUZER PASSED YESTERDAY. BEST DOG I EVER HAD.THESE DOGS HAVE A WONDERFUL TEMPERAMENT DONT THEY. I GOT MY SCHGNAUZER FROM A BREEDER IN MICHIGAN.MY BREEDER MOVED TO ARIZONA. THERE ARE A COUPLE BREEDERS IN CANADA NEAR MICHIGAN.THEY’RE NOT HARD TO FIND ALL OVER.MY DOG GAVE ME MANY YEARS OF COMPANIONSHIP AND JOY..GOOD LUCK
