Is my family ready for a dog?

Sounds like you have thought this out, but what about the rest of the family? Anyone with allergies? How does the rest of your family feel about getting a dog? Who is going to pay the expense of food, vet check, shots, training, etc.? Are you thinking about a puppy or rescueing a dog? Not trying to burst your bubble but these are all items to consider. Any reasons your family hasn’t had a dog before now?

That quiz suggests the top 4 or 5 breeds to consider based on your responses to various questions plus an extended list of breeds that might fit you and your family. Some dogs need more training or exercise than others. Research the breeds before making a decision based solely on looks.
