I have a German Shepherd mix and have to sell my house and move into an apartment. There is NO WAY I can get rid of Sammie, I’ve had him for 3 years. Any suggestions on how to help him cope with not having a backyard or a lot of space to run around in? |

Just make sure you take Sammie out every day for enough exercise to tucker him out. If they get regular bursts of exercise, most dogs are happy to lay around and snooze the rest of the time. |

Have you tried any of these games? http://dogtime.com/search?search%5Bquery%5D=gam… Mental stimulation can be as good as physcal stimulation for your dog. |

Dagwood doesn’t have a backyard because we live in a Townhome. No problem though because that just means we have to take him out more often and in doing so keeps him very socialized. Socializing your dog is just as important as obedience training. Good for you…good for your favorite fur friend! http://dogtime.com/socialization.html |
