Do hotels and hotel rooms that allow pets smell bad? Or, does anyone have any recommendations for dog-friendly hotels in the Orlando area (that don’t stink, literally)?

I haven’t stayed in the Orlando area with my dog but I haven’t had any problems on the few trips I’ve taken with my dog. We travel for shows so she has to stay in hotels with me as she is my show dog. Just make sure you clean up after your dog as that is a really big pet peeve of mine.

We have made many trips with both our dog and cat. Not once did we experience lower that standard accommodations. Sometimes you may be asked for a cleaning deposit.

I saw Orlando on a “Top 10” list of dog friendly cities. It was listed as #8.

Here is a link to the Orlando Dog-Friendly City Guide: http://www.dogfriendly.com/server/travel/usciti…

I see a list of a LOT of dog-friendly hotels on the Orlando site.

Good luck!

We take our dog everywhere, and we’ve never experienced a bad-smelling hotel room. We’ve had to pay an extra fee per stay or per night, depending on the hotel, but they’ve all been very clean and nice.
