Dear balloons101,
I assume that it would be ok if your pup comes with you to the Bahamas. But it all depends on the conditions your family has, etc. If you do go to the Bahamas without him, then find a responsible person to dog-sit your pup. You don’t want your dogsitter to also have plans or the pup will be awfully lonely, and may develope Seperation Anxiety.
Best of Luck, Raspberries.

Consider you are traveling to a different country. The Bahamas is not part of the US and you will probably have to deal with international laws regarding dogs, so check the requierements and rules. Most countries impose a quarantine period for pets. If that is not a problem, you also have to consider your accomodations… are you staying in a hotel or in an apartment? And last, but not least, what would you do with your dog while you are visiting the island or laying at the beach?
If you have a responsible person who could sit for her or there is a good kennel you trust, this might be a better alternative.
