Yes, my pup is a poop-eater, and natural behavior or not, I’m just not as enthusiastic about those puppy kisses as I used to be. |

I saw on one of the other topics someone said mixing I think a tablespoon of pumpkin in their food everyday makes their poop taste bad to them so they won’t eat it. It’s worth a try, and probably much cheaper and more nutritious than something you’d buy at a pet store. |

You should try a spray collar with a romote. Every time the dog try to eat it’s waste you press a button that sprays water or another dog safe liquid in their face. Or you can try changing his diet. Dogs sometimes eat poop when they are lacking something in their diet. Or just clean up his poop more often. That way he does not get a chance to eat it. |

I LOVE the spray collar idea! I’ve never heard of that before. Do you know where I could purchase one? |

I also heard that feeding them pineapple with their food helps deter this behavior. |

Ah… that is gross. |
