I have an 11 week old Siberian Husky and she just got into a plate of chicken buffalo wings. She ate four of them including the bone. I know they’re not supposed to eat bones so is she going to be ok? Should I be worried. She’s acting normal, in fact, she was more upset when she was disciplined than anything else. Please advise; if I need to take her to the vet I will definitely do so! Thanks so much in advance! |

Any cooked chicken bones are bad for your dog. If this happens again give her several pieces of bread. The bread helps the bones pass through the digestive system without causing any harm to the dog. I would watch her, and as long as she is eating, dinking, acting normally and has a nomal stool, she should be ok. If she stops eating, drinking, acting normally , or has blood in her stool, then she needs to see the vet. |

Feed the puppy lots of cooked rice with chicken broth. I think he will be OK, just make sure you keep a close watch for any signs of discomfort. There is also an article on Cotton ball treatment, which I do not think is necessary in your situation: |
