lion813 4 posts	Jim, this depends on your dogs needs. You did not mention his energy level or age. For a young or verbal dog who is bugging the neighbors I would recommend daycare. I just started sending my dog to a daycare and it is the very first time I have ever seen my energetic 2 yr old tired. If you do pick daycare make sure to visit and ask for a tour first.
MAracer 3 posts	I worked at a high end pet daycare and it really is great for the dogs- they are able to get socialized, play with other dogs, and, since my dog came every day, I had never seen her so tired at night. She really loved it and it built her confidence. But daycare also cannot take the place of walking your dog. Is there a way you can walk your dog before work then send it to daycare? Walking your dog is a critical part of your relationship with your dog.

Beagle people spend a lot of time trying to outthink their dogs, and they often must resort to food rewards to lure the Beagle into a state of temporary obedience. We loved our beagle.
