Does anybody have suggestions for products that help removing the dog scent from your home? I understand it is something unavoidable but maybe there is something that can be done?

Best thing to do is to keep up on the vacuuming and dusting. Odor eliminater usually makes it worse, and can give you the owner a headache. Thes products make my dog sneeze.

hi,

There is a time in every dog owner’s life that calls for having a good stain and odor remover on hand—think of housetraining a puppy, or living with your geriatric dog’s mishaps, not to mention the irregular bouts of vomiting and diarrhea that occur in every dogs’ lifetime.

Vacuming, odor spray that clean it up usually work. This doesn’t remove odors but if my house starts smelling to much like a dog i just light a candle. It doesn’t get rid of the odor but it does make things smell better.

All pet owners need a stain remover that works, but the eco-conscious crowd also wants one that’s free of harsh solvents, fragrances, and other chemicals that aren’t great for the planet (and often, not good for us or our dogs). Check this link for the Eco-friendly stain remover.

The sooner you clean up the mess like urine or stain, the easier it is to remove the odor and prevent staining.

Check out this link to find product reviews on some urine and stain cleaners:
