I am looking to get a german shepard for my home and am unsure what to do with it during the day. I live in the tropics and have a small&enclosed yard that i could leave him to wander in with an empty maids quarters for shade if its hot. Or I have a spare bedroom inside with tile floors, a/c and plenty of room to play. I work 10hr days but come home for 2 hrs at lunch so i will be there often to play, train, etc but it is while i’m at the office that i am not sure what the best thing to do would be. Mornings outside and hot afternoons inside w/ a/c and perhaps a radio turned on? |

If you get a puppy you should seriously consider taking a week off work to train the pup. If it’s a trained adult dog it should be fine with a pet door to go in and out. |
