HI I have a 6 months old puppy and she has already lost 2 teeth i am a bit worried because I am not sure how old you have to be as a puppy to lose teeth i would love advice thanks in advance julia

different dogs lose teeth at different times. talk to your vet because at this age you should be getting him/her fixed and if the vet can pull some teeth while the puppy is already under then that should be done.

For a schnauzer losing their puppy teeth at about 6 months of age is completely normal. We have had 5 mini’s in my family and that’s right about when all 5 starting getting their adult teeth. I wouldn’t worry about having the vet pull the baby teeth unless the adult teeth come in and the baby teeth don’t fall out.
