My newly adopted beagle mix just started having occasional coughing (or reverse sneezing?) episodes right around the same time that my seasonal allergies flared up. I think it may be because she’s constantly sniffing at the ground while we’re walking. I plan to call my vet to make sure it isn’t anything more serious, but does anyone have any advice as to how I can help alleviate her symptoms w/o medication? Thanks!

Hi,

I found this article about kennel cough(Kennel cough is perhaps the closest canine equivalent to the common cold.) , you might want to check it out. Here it is http://dogtime.com/topics/137?breaks=2006_3240&...

Hope this helps.

An alternative you could try would be an herbal remedy. This article is about what you need to know about herbal remedies.
