microfilaria

My 1.5yrs old Labrador got infected with Microfilaria. We were under the impression that he is having fever for the past ten days. A blood test happened two days back confirmed that he is having microfilaria.He is under treatment but he is not taking any food and full time sleepy.

Seems like the number of worms in his blood is more. They are giving pill for killing the worms in his blood once in a day and the blood test is happening alternte days to check the count of worms in the blood.

Will he be fine, how much days it will take him to come to the original condition?He was a very very active dog, after this, he is very very dull.
