You may also want to take your dog to a professional groomer. Short-coated dogs may only require a bath and brush, and an occasional trim of the nails. Long- and thick-coated dogs, however, may be more prone to tangles and mats. For these breeds, you may want to consider using a professional groomer. Check this link. |

You don’t say waht kind of pup you have. That makes a major differnence in how much grooming will be required. It is a good idea to get your pup used to being brushed even if it is short haired. It will be a bonding time and get the pup used to being handled. Brushing the teeth falls into that same category. Getting the pup used to having a bath is also important, but it will depend on how the pup lives (outside, inside) on how often a bath is needed. I have one dog that I brush every day and bath about once a month. Others don’t get this much care. It depends on breed and size and where the dog lives. |

You can also take care of your puppy by taking some time and attention to groom her. Its necessity for all breed to bath, comb, clip, nail trimming, etc. Check this link for the home grooming tips. |
