A tool that i found at a local Rual Kig store. it is the Furminator. A comb that gets down deep into the bottom coat of fur. It pretty much just pulls out the dead hair and thins out the dogs fur. They make these combs for any animal. Great for big furry dogs like the St. Benard. |

Something called the ShedEnder. It works much the same way, and is one of the few “as seen on TV” products that does what it claims. I have one for my cats and one for my dog. But I try and use the one on my dog outside because the fur really flies. |

brushing dogs fur will really results to shedding, but this is normal, these are excess hairs.. lab do shed a lot,, buy a quality vacuum cleaner and brush your dog daily, especially when he’s shedding, to get out the loose hair. Labs need a bath about every two months or so to keep them looking clean and smelling good. for more info: |
