My 5 1/2 month old GSD puppy, Oskar, is well socialized with dogs and people, but I haven’t socialized him with cats. I thought he would be dangerous around cats because he always tries to chase them; but then when one stood it’s ground and started hissing, he got scared. I’m just curious, is this normal, or does it point to possible temperament issues? |

I find that most dogs and pups do back off when a cat stands his ground. I believe it is completely normal. |

I thought so, but I was kind of surprised because he’s never really been scared of anything else. Thanks |
