Hello all, Bebe, also known as “the stinker” because she will steal whole steaks or corned beef off the table, has cancer. Doggie breast cancer. she had surgery in june, a bit before bella passed away. She goes back in this tuesday because there is a large lump which has come back, and several smaller lumps. see the site http://bit.ly/Jr3BA she too, is a very loyal dog and we hope for the best. Dogs are our best buddies and we’d do anything for them. the cost is extreme but we are trying to find a way. Does anyone know if this may be a geneic thing with White German Shepherds? We have (had) 3 dogs. they were all rescue dogs saved from the pound and found wandering the streets. Our first dog, Bella, a lab mix, was a very loyal dog. She passed away from IMHA this past June. It was very sudden. the night before, she was her usual self, wanting to go for a walk, eating her food, then trying to eat the other dogs. Then, the next morning, 10 hours later, she wouldn’t get up off her bed for breakfast. she died 6 days later. this is an awful disease and we are still in shock. She was the picture of health at the time. |
