Hi. We have a 2 year old Lab who we adore. I am wondering if a Frenchie (a breed I also adore) would be happy with an 85 pound “brother”? The Lab (Charlie) is pretty laid back for a Lab, but still high energy. He also thinks he’s a lapdog. My fault, I admit it. We work and are out of the house from 7AM until 4PM +/-. I can’t take a dog to work with me – oh how I wish! – What is your advice?

how is your Lab’s attitude towards other dogs? If he gets along fine with his canine buddies then there wouldn’t be much problem introducing him to a new “brother” regardless of the breed.

I think you should take your dog to a dog park and see how

he reacts to other dogs and see if you’re ready for another dog.
