Sorry to see no one seems to have a Toy Fox Terrier to yak about. Sure you do. How can you not talk and laugh about your TFT.Just adopted my lil girl of 2 1/2 years from a great family in FL. I live in S GA near the Okefenokee Swamp off of Valdosta Hwy. She is a 10 lb TFT. A little big for a TFT but very beautiful and athletic. I had a 3 1/2 lb TFT/Chihuahua female for 3 1/2 years. When we moved to GA from FL with all the kids and grandkids it was proving to be too much for my little friend.I felt it best for her(but awful for me)to find a new family for her. Did so and that has been almost 3 years now. Finally the house is quiter with kids and grandkids moving away and it was good opportunity to have a dog back into our family. My husband and myself and an acre of land with half of it chainlinked. I have her and she is just a perfect little dog. I am not active enough BUT with her help I will get back to being much more active. Her former Mom suggested agility for her and believe she was very much correct in that idea. She is a lil lightening bolt. Muscles everywhere and so much of a jumper.I’ve never done agility but want to start doing that kind of thing with Molly. Adopted Molly thru the ATFTC out of California. Hope to hear more from you TFT families. Til later, Jackie and Molly

Hi there – still looking for another TFT fan? The current love of my life, Danny Boy, is not quite 10 months old yet. He is the 5th TFT that has graced me with his presence. My father surprised me with my first over 30 years ago, and to this day, that was the best present I’ve ever gotten. I’ve had 3 rowdy boys (count Danny in that group, along with Andy and Joey), 1 courtly Southern gentleman (Eddie), and the sweetest little lady (Bonny Belle) you could ever meet. I can’t go for too long without one around…they just seem to brighten up your day no matter what else may happen.

I got my current baby as a “pet”, but he’s ended up being such a good-looking fellow that his granny (“Danny Granny” a/k/a his breeder – she was also Bonny’s "granny"), along with several others, thought we should go the show route. Unfortunately, he has one “shy” testicle that is putting that dream on hold. Oh well…nobody will ever be able to convince me that he is anything other than a PERFECT 10. We’re entertaining the idea of agility training, too. These little guys are perfect for that, so I hope you and Molly decide to go for it! Maybe we can root for one another?!?!?!

Hi jawag3! What a nice family you have got there. Yeah! Haven’t got a hold of anyone who has or likes TFTs. Got started with TFTs thru my sister who brought a male TFT and a female Chihuahua back from Texas.San Antonio. She had moved out that way to marry. It did not happen so she later came home.Doggies in tow.(front seat really) Her lil Chihuahua was pg at that time. I got a female pup out of the litter a few months after my sis got back to FL. Got the pup for my daughter out of a promise.Dog wound up velcroing to me. Tried to get her to do that with my daughter but my daughter would not do all the caring for her. So,there you go. She was mine from then on. That was 2000. Puppy needed a new family cause our number of people in the family and all was proving way too much on Puppy. We had to move to GA.Found a great home for Puppy.About 7 months later got a letter tyelling me how Puppy had died from heartworm infestation. She was adopted knowing Puppy had no shots.I felt she would be fine being a 24/7 indoor dog.Skeeter found her anyways and that was all there was to it. My HUGE mistake never to be repeated again. She had to pay for my ignorance.Puppy potty-trained herself to a little cardboard box she was raised in beside my bed. As she got older she merely jumped into he rlil box, ppoed or weed and I changed her newspapers as needed. Always clean and that was great. She was so small being outside was so dangerous. Hawks and the like so near even when she was but feet from me. Anyways that is how I came to know and love TFTs. I love all dogs for sure. But my fave to be able to handle and afford are the wee ones. Chihuahua and TFTs. Puppy’s mom is my mothers dog now and her mate had been rehomed. He was always breaking a leg every year when my sis had him. He was fine at his new home though. He was a only dog there but later they got another TFT but still all was well last I heard. All that was St. Augustine,FL. I live in Waycross,GA now. Yakking too much. Great to meet you. Talk later, Jackie
