Buffy our great little Shih Tzu is aggresive towards most other dogs. This usually happens meeting other dogs while on our several daily walks. She is very good around people and just great in every other way. Anyone have any ideas how to correct this behavior? |

Hi, Most behaviorists use desensitization to treat dog-dog aggression. Using plenty of positive reinforcement, you’ll gradually decrease the physical distance between your dog and other dogs without raising his anxiety level. Check out this link to know more about this problem: |

You are right, they are friendly toward strangers. These breeds are dog friendly and playful. Their aggressiveness is occasionally misunderstood. To find out more about them, please click on: http://dogtime.com/dog-breeds/shih-tzu/personality |
