We need help we have a 2 yr old mini pinscher. We have had some discipline problems with him in the past but not until recently we have acquired a 2 year old maltese (November 2007) and a yorkie-pug mix 8 weeks old in January 2008.

The mini pinscher has gotten really aggressive and is biting and jumping on people as they come in and snaps at them. We have tried everything, we don’t want to have to get rid of him, but we need help.

many years ago, i had a dog who became aggressive when we brought a puppy in to the house. we had a trainer come in for a couple of private sessions and she worked wonders. i’m sorry i can’t remember exactly what she did, but i recommend calling a trainer. sounds like a fixable problem.
