Companion Road Dog Sweaters
Our take: PetSmart's in-house line of dog clothes has a lot of cute inexpensive sweaters in varied styles. Most cost about $20, and they always appear to go on sale at some point. Since they're made of easy care acrylic, you don't have to worry when your dog galumphs through a mud puddle. As you can imagine, dog sweaters can snag and stretch so finding an easy source with lots of different inexpensive sweaters is a bonus. The dogs weigh in: Both Clint, the toy Poodle, and Merlin the Maltese, were fine once the sweater was on, but neither appreciated having to put their feet through holes (the particular style we used did not have sleeves).
