Bella Dogga dog beds

Bella Dogga

Our take: These colorful beds are stuffed with kapok, cotton-like fiber from the seed pods of the tropical Kapok tree. Versatile kapok has been used in place of down in comforters and pillows, and it's even served as insulation. Three good reasons for its popularity: Kapok is water repellent, does not absorb odors, and is naturally resistant to mold.

The kapok used for Bella Dogga beds is organic, as are the cotton covers. Each bed is handmade, and style is a big factor. You'll find no bland beige at Bella Dogga--the cotton covers are brightly patterned, with piping along the edges. You can choose from circular or square beds.

Cost: high
