“By working with RescueGroups.org, we are able to help the largest number of small and struggling rescue groups at once. While there are undoubtedly thousands of rescue groups that could use the help, we do not have the ability to directly donate to all of them. “Think you have the right idea,but I agree that the funds you will donate should go directly to a rescue, not a hosting company. And through donations, RescueGroups.org is able to provide its services free of charge to animal welfare groups that cannot afford them. “How is this helping dogs when you are donating the money to rescuegroups.org which is a group that host website's. They charge for the website. It is not free. They also do not donate money to the rescue groups that they host. We were one of their first groups to use them and they charged us and are always asking us for more money. They even charge you when you have a questions about your own website. You should of donated the money to Petfinder.com who actually gives grants to the groups on their site.” — CinSloan, Jun 21 2009
