“We're getting our new short-haired female, brown mini dachshund in ten days and we can't decide on a name for her! She is the half-sister of our deceased puppy, Lucy, who was accidentally run over when she was 4 months old. We have an older dog named Macy, so we don't want the name to rhyme with "ACEE", since it was very confusing for Lucy and Macy! We were going to name her Coco Channell, but someone said if we say "NO, COCO" or "COCO, NO", she'll never learn the word "NO". Any suggestions?”

“I have a six month old miniature dachshund named Tulip. I came up with the name because I love flowers. I never dreamed that anyone else would ever name their dog Tulip. I thought I came up with the most original dog name ever. Well...not so. I'm finding Tulips all over the place. ”
