He's a wonderful dog and a great companion. He has has learned how to tell when I'm sad or upset and doesn't leave my side until the pain is gone. “Two months was as long as we could wait after losing our 6-year-old Critter. I went on a search and low and behold, 7-week-old Rebel stold my heart. His daddy was Yankee's Oldham so of course we had to add a Rebel to the mix and came up with Yankee's Rebel With a Cause. His cause was to heal our hearts of the horrible wound left when Critter traversed the Rainbow Bridge.

Rebel is 7 now and unbelievably smart! He does things on his own that you wouldn't believe even if I did have time to list them all!

He's our constant companion, our second son. (Our first son is career Navy. Isn't it interesting that they both love the water?)

“I LOST A BLACK LABADOR 4 YEARS AGO TO SEIZURES. I HAD TWO DOGS AT THE TIME SO MY GOLDIE/MIX WAS SPOILED SHE WAS MY COMFORT FOR MY LOSS. SINCE THEN I RECENTLY LOST HERE TO CANCER AND HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ANOTHER LAB/MIX OR A GOLDIE/MIX I HAVE BEEN ON A SITE FOR A RESCUE DOG AND SHE IS OUT OF STATE AND HAD SOME SURGERY WELL IT TURNS OUT SHE DENIED ME THE DOG AFTER NUMEROUS EMAILS SO THIS SITE DOES NOT STAND UP TO ADOPTION PROCEDURES.IT LIST NUMEROUS STATES WHERE THEY WILL ADOPT OUT TO AND THEN TURNS YOU DOWN THIS IS THE CGRR OF UTAH SO JUST PASS THE WORD SOMEBODY LIKE ME THAT LOST A DOG OF 11+ YRS AND HAS A BEAUTIFUL HOME TO GIVE TO THIS DOG AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS. “Our handsome 10 month old male chocolate lab is named Jack Daniels! We sadly lost our beautiful female black lab Maia almost 2 years ago, just 3 months shy of her 6th birthday ,due to a very sudden onset of life threatening symptoms.We still miss Maia and her very gentle, sweet ways ,she was a very laid back lab.
