“All we can do is pray for our animal friends. I have rescued many and had to put down one of my long time pets. It is so sad that people treat animals the way they do. We are the animals voice and they depend on us to be there for them as they always are for us. I look at my 4 pets and think how lucky they are and wish I had more room for a few more helpless pets that have been abandoned. If I could ever win the lottery........” — Tamara, Oct 20 2009

“That is so sad! To me, that's like leaving your child behind. A responsible "parent" wouldn't do that, so how could they not give it a second thought to their pet. They ARE a part of YOUR family and if I were forced into that situation, my dogs would be with me no matter where or what the circumstance. Just like children, dogs weren't asked to be brought into this world and don't get to pick their family. So, we as pet owners, who "adopt" a dog or cat, as like a child, it is a commitment for the life of that animal. Wake up people !!!
