Comments: Vick dogs go public

AvatarViewing this website has brought me to tears... my heart goes out to each one of those dogs.. I am so happy that someone has rescued them and is taking the time to help them adjust to a loving and caring home. As for Vick(should say sick)he deserves the same treatment that he has shown those dogs. We are a society that does not accept cruelty to animals nor humans so why are we accepting this type of behaviour. He should be thrown in a pit and let him fight for his life then let him live outside. The comment he gave that there was more than him that had access to that house please are we a society that is going to accept that excuse... We all know what goes on in our yard, and if he truly didn't (Bull Sh**) then lock him away as he is not mentally fit!!!!! He does not deserve any more of my time. Good luck to all you beautiful dogs may you all find peace...” — nsavoy, Jan 29 2008

AvatarI just wanted to say THANK YOU to Mr. Racer and the ASPCA to give these dogs a 2nd chance!” — herrera66, Jan 28 2008

AvatarI am moved to tears. I am so grateful for the people working with these dogs and providing loving homes. I am also amazed at the dogs. I am an animal lover and owner, and I didn't think they could be family pets after the awful life they had before. I am happy for the dogs. So, so happy. How refreshing that good can come from this and that the dogs do have 2nd chances. I wish I could help. Wendy Chapin -Grand Rapids, Mi.” — wendy.chapin, Jan 28 2008

Img_2179_thumbnaildoes the video of one of the dogs tearing up a michael vick doll help or hurt. I know if I was considering a dog, I would not want a dog that was inclined to tear up the house. ” — thickruggernyc, Jan 28 2008

AvatarI own a pitbull mix that was dumped in the country. She is the most loyal and friendly dog I've ever owned. Walks without a leash says hello to other dogs, then returns to my side. Loves to run with me when I ride my horse and even rides with me. Has never once barked or chased horses or the cats. I'm thankful for groups like BADRAP and DOGTIME to show the good side of this breed.

AvatarGreat story! You could have a great campaign with this story that would really benefit the dogs. I have fired it up in social media. With the right combo you could really do some good with this article. I hope the social media takes off on this.” — chris, Jan 27 2008
