AvatarAs a pit bull companion, I am amazed at the discrimnation she is up against. I was lucky enuf to have seen her, underweight, hairless, infected with mites and bloody. She fit in my large cat carrier and willingly went in and just at the right time. For the first time in my experience with animals, I "stole" a dog and hid her because animal control had been contacted and was to pick her up. When animal control is contacted regarding a underweight, hairless, bug infested dog that is labelled "vicious" they hang around and snoop for a long time.

After weekly visits to the vet for 7 weeks for the sacroptic mange, all the meds for secondary infections, the not being about to touch her without bleeding.....I am proud to say I harbored a dangerous threat to society. I am now gratiful to all those who have done this before me and for making the effort to save this breed.

I would appreciate any advice on how to get her to compromise shared bed space, and snoring alleviation” — vegaval3, Jun 17 2008

Murphy_thumbnailI'd be seriously surprised. I know he met with PETA's founder and tooka seminar from them on compassion to animals, but he's still not exactly the kind of guy they'd want representing PETA. But who knows...
