“I was afraid of Pit Bulls, until I met one. This is one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen. Seized from a dog fighter before he was in the ring, his ears were docked. What a big wide grin he has! I live in Germany, so I could not bring him over as an adoptee. Just found out he's been adopted. What a winner and with a loving temperament that does not quit. I think of him every day, maybe I fell in love with him.”

“I AM PUTTING THIS IN CAPS BECAUSE I ALSO LOVE MY BULLIES WITH ALL MY HEART--WHAT PEOPLE DO WITH THEM MAKES ME SICK AND MAKES ME WONDER WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING??? But on another note I love them so much that I am putting together a book about them. ”

“We're working hard to keep BSL from being passed in our city. Luckily ROADS (Responsible Owners of Arkasas Dogs) has a case that's being heard in Federal court in Little Rock later this year that challenges the constitutionality of BSL. We're hoping they win their case - it'll keep our town from passing BSL and will allow us to focus on punishing the owners of the dogs of any breed rather than punishing innocent animals. Thank you, BAD RAP for all you do, helping get out the good word about pits as well as saving lives! ”

“I have four rescued pit bulls of my own. They are wonderful dogs. Please support the organizations that work hard to save the breed, fight BSL and help educate people on pit bulls. ”

“I love my pitbulls!!! I admire the breed for their loyalty ,determination, strength and undying love for their people! When a pit is raised by a responsible person, you get an amazing companion. I have had the pleasure of being around pits all my life. Right now I have a rescue bluenose and also foster another...living where I do (Ontario) makes it difficult for us but we persevere. I'm never givin' up on my fav breed!”

“I love pit bulls! In 1997 I found one straying in our city park, emaciated and with heart worms. She lived with us for nine years to the age of 14 or so. I would adopt a pit again in a second if I didn't live in a county where they are illegal. Very sad.”

“I was always one of those people who ALWAYS though badly about pit bulls, until I saw a PB Mix at a local humane society adoption marathon. He was a little brindle fellow, along with about 4 litter mates who were found wandering the streets. I shied away from them, simply due to their breed, until I heard a worker say to another worker "These poor pits, no one wants to adopt them because of who they are!" I felt a pang of sadness and immediately turned around and asked to see the little guy. We took him outside to "test him out" and he was the cutest, most lovable little thing. I couldn't help but fall in love with him. We decided right then and there we were going to give the little "bully" a chance. 4 years later he is THE MOST LOVEABLE DOG I have ever known. At first I used to shy away from saying he was a "pit bull mix" when people would ask, but I'm now a huge advocate for the breed, and tell everyone how wonderful they are. I'm glad I found out about BAD RAP and all that they are doing, as I'd never heard of them. I'm going to donate to them now.”
