Erie County Sheriff Timothy Howard and SPCA Executive Director Gary Willoughby announced their latest partnership – a new inmate rehabilitation program called, “Pups at the Pen.”
Prisoners will learn responsibility and to love and care for something other than themselves, the dogs will get important training and socialization that will make them more adoptable.
Sounds like a win/win!
