Alvari Saumet and his wife opened a sanctuary for dogs in Costa Rica 8 years ago. They have found homes for thousands of dogs in the last 8 years. Some of the dogs need extra medial care when they arrive. The refuge relies on donations to cover the costs of that medical care and food and everything else. They love having visitors and hope more young people will visit their sanctuary and learn about what they are doing.
